Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between WorkGlass ("we", "us") and the organization that signs up for WorkGlass ("you", "the customer"). The person who accepts them confirms they are allowed to act for that organization.

1. The service

WorkGlass is an online workspace for insurance brokers to manage policies, clients, payments, commissions and related records. We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove core features you rely on without reasonable notice.

2. Trials and demos

• A trial lasts 7 days on your own workspace, with limits on users, records, imports, storage and Glass AI. No card is needed to start.
• If the setup fee is not paid by the end of the trial, the workspace becomes read-only and is later deleted. We will email you before deletion.
• The live demo uses sample data, lasts 3 hours and is then deleted. Do not enter real client data in a demo.

3. Fees

• One-time setup and first-year licence: $800.
• Yearly renewal: $200, due on the renewal date.
• Glass AI add-on (optional): $50 per month, including 3,000 messages a month. Extra message packs are one-off purchases, used before they expire and not refundable once used.
• Prices exclude taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe. If a renewal is unpaid, the workspace enters a grace period, then becomes read-only until payment is made.

4. Your data

• You own the data you put into WorkGlass. We process it only to provide the service and as you instruct.
• Each organization's data is kept separate from every other organization's.
• You are responsible for having the right to store your clients' personal data and for keeping your users' access up to date.
• You can export your data while your workspace is active or read-only.

5. Support access

Our support staff can open your workspace only to help with a request, with a stated reason, for a limited time, and read-only unless you agree otherwise. Every visit is recorded in an access log that your managers can see in Organization Settings.

6. Glass AI

Glass AI sends the text you type, and documents you ask it to read, to our AI provider to produce an answer. Answers can be wrong; check them before relying on them for quotes, cover or client advice. Usage is metered and subject to the limits of your plan.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use WorkGlass to break the law, upload malicious files, attempt to access other organizations' data, overload or probe the service, or resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and back up data regularly, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. If we change these terms materially we will notify you and show the new version when you next sign in.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop renewing at any time; the service runs until the end of the paid year. We can end the agreement if you seriously breach these terms. After the workspace ends, you have 30 days to request an export; then the data is deleted from live systems and from backups as they rotate.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in any year is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
